VInvolved has now replaced the Millennium Volunteers scheme in England.

From 2 April 2008, you'll find a local VInvolved team wherever you live in England. They're part of VInvolved, the new national youth volunteering programme, which aims to revolutionise youth action in England. VInvolved has now replaced the Millennium Volunteers programme in England.
In the first instance you should contact a project near to where you live. You can use the website listed to search for local projects. You can also get information about volunteering opportunities from your local Connexions Partnership.
