Landmark Training
Landmark offer training through apprenticeships, LEAPP, e2e and LEVER. Apply using the application forms available from the website or from Connexions. Applications
for apprenticeships are accepted throughout the year. For all other courses, applications throughout the year are made via referral from Connexions.
LEAPP - a 12 week course 16 hours per week with a training allowance of £20 per week and a £50 progression bonus at the end of the course. Help with travel
costs (if required). You will achieve a recognised qualification such as Basic First Aid. You may also gain a basic or key skill qualification in English and
Maths if needed. LEAPP can help you progress on to e2e.
LEVER - a 12 week programme with an opportunity to achieve one unit of a Level 2 NVQ with at least 20 days of work experience in areas such as: Business Administration,
Theatre, Construction, IT, Customer Service, Retail, Childcare etc. Opportunity to attend at least 3 workshops. Weekly 1:1 support and advice from your Key Worker.

- Vocational areas include Customer Service, Business Administration
- e2e - flexible 5 month individually planned programme to help young people cover the areas they want to learn. You will learn new personal and work related skills,
giving you the confidence to apply for the job you want, or to move onto the next step in your career. Some topics offered on the e2e course: Personal & social development:
covers confidence and communication skills etc. Vocational (job) development: including job searching, interview techniques etc. Work tasters: an opportunity to gain work
experience and practise employment skills. Qualifications such as ASDAN, Youth Achievement Award, CLAIT & NVQs in Retail, Administration or Customer Service. All learners
have the opportunity to undertake a 2 - 4 week Work Taster placement designed to give them a feel for work with varied employers in the local area. Placements are found in
Retail, Office Administration, Leisure and Tourism and Charity sectors. The students on the e2e course also benefit from the Voice of the Learner programme, which provides
them with an opportunity to voice their feelings and organise social activities.
- E2E Graduate - a three month full-time programme for 16-19 year olds who have completed the E2E course and attained a level qualification in either literacy or numeracy. Landmark
will arrange a suitable, full-time work placement where learners will be working towards two units of an NVQ II qualification and gaining real work skills. Learners will be eligible
to apply for the Education Maintenance Allowance and may receive up to £30 per week.
- No specific entry requirements but applicants must undergo an initial assessment to determine their suitability.
- Apprenticeships qualifications are at two levels, the first is equivalent to 5 GCSEs and the second 2 A levels. An Apprenticeship
programme is made up of several parts: An NVQ qualification (in Administration and Customer Service). A Technical Certificate - covering
specific knowledge related to the industry. Key Skills - are skills such as IT, Communication, Numeracy etc. Employment rights & responsibilities
- gives you the knowledge you need when first starting out at work e.g. health and safety. An Enhancement- this is an additional IT qualification
for the Administration course only.
- Vocational areas include Customer Service, Business Administration.
- You must be aged 16-18 (can be older but see below) and have GCSE English A*-C or Key Skills Communication Level 2, GCSE Maths A*-G or Key Skills
Application of Number Level 1. Applicants will also be required to undergo and initial assessment. It may be possible to enter straight onto the
Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship but the young person must already be in employment.
- There is no waiting list for 16-18 year olds. There may be opportunities for 19-24 year olds but they must already be in employment.
