  • e2e training takes place mainly at B & D Training Services although some sessions are external
  • Start dates range from August to July.
  • The programme is for up to 35 hours a week for 20 weeks. During the programme you will: have 5 days work experience; improve your Maths and English and be able to take a qualification; learn how to do some DIY; attend job search sessions; get creative in arts and crafts sessions; create a CV and update this throughout the programme; do team working activities
  • Every learner gets the opportunity to do a vocationally related qualification in a range of disciplines.

  • To be selected, you must be below level 1 in basic skills initial screening which is administered at interview.

  • All apprentices work with an employer for 4 days a week. The majority of apprentices are employed. Child Care apprentices attend B&D Training Services for their training days and construction apprentices attend Barking College for their training days.
  • Vocational areas include Child Care, Learning & Development and Construction: Brickwork, Wood Occupations, Painting & Decorating and Plumbing.

  • You need GCSE A-C in Maths and English or take a Basic Skills screening at interview. Must achieve literacy and numeracy level 1 to be considered.
